General Instructions 

Your friends and family are waiting for the photos. Hurry up! 


Logging In

Once you open the app, you will see a login screen. If you already have an account, login using your email and password. If you are unsure of your password, click the "Reset here" button. If you do not have an account yet, click "Register now" to make an account and get access to the best photo sharing app

Registering

If you do not have an account already, you can register yourself. Fill in all the fields with the appropriate information and check the box indicating that you agree to the Terms and Conditions of Sweetsmara. Then click "Sign up" to finish your account creation. If you already have an account, click "Signin here" and you will be taken to the login screen above.

Home Screen

Once you login to the app, you will have access to all of the features of Sweetsmara. The home screen has a carousel of photos you have uploaded previously to the app. You can like your favorite ones to remember them. You can check your notifications from the bell icon in the upper toolbar, view local public events using the map icon, and upload photos via the plus icon. 

You can access all of the other features Sweetsmara offers via the bottom toolbar. You can view all of your events, take photos via the in-app camera, view all of the photos that have been shared with you, and monitor your photo uploads. 

Sweetsmara will notify you if you do not have any active events and guide you in creating an event from the home screen.

Events 

The event of the century is yours. You just gotta share the photos now 


Click on the events tab from the bottom toolbar to see all the past, active, and upcoming events you have. You can also create new events and see the map using the button in the top right corner to see public events near you. To create a new event, click on the plus icon in the bottom right corner.

Once you click the plus icon from the events home page, you will be taken to a page to add all of your events details. Fill out each field with the appropriate item then click "Save" in the top right corner to save your event details.

Once you save your event details, you will see all of your event details and have to option to go to any other page from the bottom toolbar, edit the event using the "Edit" button in the top right, or go back to the events home page by clicking "Events" in the top left corner.

Once you create an event and take some photos, Sweetsmara will ask if you want to put your recent photos in any active events you have. You have the option to either tag them or not from the homescreen. If you click "Yes Please" you will be taken to a window to select the photos that you want to add to the event. If you click "No Thanks" the notification will go away.

Select the photos that you want to tag and select the event that they should go into. Then click "Upload" in the top right corner to add the selected photo(s) to the event(s) you selected.

Camera 

All I want to hear is the clicking of the camera 


Take advantage of the built in camera of Smara to automatically upload your photos to the app. Access the camera by clicking on the Camera icon from the bottom toolbar when you open the app. Zoom in and out using two fingers, enable the grid using the Grid icon, take a photo using the blue button, and flip between your front and back facing cameras using the camera switch icon. You can also toggle flash via the flash icon in the top right. Exit the camera using the X icon in the top left.

Shared 

Sharing is caring and we love sharing here 


To view all the photos that have been shared with you, click on the "Shared" icon in the bottom toolbar and the shared photos homescreen will pull up. From here, you can see all of the photos that have been shared with you, sorted by the mosts recent events. Click on the event to see all of the photos from the event.

When you view the photos in an event, you can do 3 main actions: like a photo, download a photo, and either delete a photo or mark it as offensive. To like a photo, click on the heart in the bottom left of the photo. To download a photo, click on the arrow in the bottom right of the photo. If you are the person who uploaded a photo, you can delete it from the event by clicking the trash in the top right of the photo but if you are not the owner of a photo but think a photo is offensive, you can click on the eye in the top right of the photo to mark it as offensive and hide it from your view.

Camera

Uploads 

See the progress of your images as they get uploaded to the BEST photo sharing app ever 


When you upload photos from your camera roll, you can track the progress of your uploads by clicking on the "Uploads" tab in the bottom toolbar. View the photo preview and the percentage uploaded as they upload.
